Training Assistance Program
The AZ LE Foundation is committed to supporting law enforcement officers in attending defensive tactics, combatives, and use-of-force–related training. We believe that an officer who is confident and proficient in arrest and control skills enhances the safety and effectiveness of their department and fellow officers.
Each quarter, the Foundation will conduct a random lottery-style drawing from all eligible applications. There is no limit to the number of times an officer may apply. Based on the cost of the selected training, the Foundation will determine whether full or partial financial assistance can be provided. Assistance covers training registration fees only and does not include travel, lodging, or per diem expenses.
Recipients of financial assistance are ineligible to reapply for a period of one year following their award.
